Test Forms let you launch a test form from within the Flow Designer. The option is available on any step in the process.
This lets you quickly launch a form to check its behavior without having to work through the whole process to reach that step.
To use it, click the title of the step you want to preview, then click the “Start test form” icon on the toolbar.
A new form will launch on that step.
You can submit this step, and a “Delete test form” button is available on test forms created this way.
Test forms can also be identified on the forms list, as they will be created with a prefix of TEST_ to distinguish themselves from regular forms.
While most functionality is supported when using Test Forms, not all scenarios are. If you start a test form partway through the process, and it relies on information or rules from earlier steps that haven’t run, the form may not behave as expected.
Note: Step starting rules do not execute when previewing a form.
