Business rule add-ons in FlowForma are custom rules that can be added to the product. They expand the platform’s functionality, allowing advanced calculations, dynamic data management, and enhanced automation.
  • Calculations - Date calculation (calculate non-working days): calculate dates by excluding non-working days such as weekends or holidays. Use case: determine project deadlines based on working days.
  • Calculations - Date difference: compute the difference between two dates. Use case: calculate the duration of leave requests or project timelines.
  • CSV mapping: map data from CSV files into repeating tables. Use case: import bulk employee details from a CSV file.
  • Delete list item: automate the deletion of items from a SharePoint list when conditions are met. Use case: remove outdated entries after processing.
  • Multiple document generation: generate multiple documents simultaneously from a repeating table based on templates. Use case: create a contract, invoice, and summary report in a single step.
  • Repeating table - identify unique RT column: identify unique columns within a repeating table for advanced data handling. Use case: ensure each row has a unique identifier for tracking.
  • Text modification - Capitalize words: automatically capitalise words in text fields for consistency. Use case: capitalise names or titles entered in a form.
  • Trigger repeating table: execute sub-question rules in a repeating table only when a step is saved or completed. Use case: perform calculations at the end of submission rather than during data entry.
