# How to create Map charts

> Create map charts in FlowForma Analytics to plot geographical data points from latitude and longitude coordinates, sized by an attached measure value.

Map charts are mainly used to view precise geographical data points. This chart type requires specific data: a single object that returns coordinates (latitude/longitude) with a label, and a measure attached to each of these coordinates. The size of a circle on the map is determined by the measure value for that coordinate: the larger the circle, the higher the value.
