# Limitations

> The Flow Health Checker validates question and rule references but cannot detect flawed logic, deleted templates, or removed SharePoint groups.

The purpose of the health checker is to validate question and rule configuration where references to questions or steps are used.

All questions and rules are supported, but there are certain elements the health checker does not cover:

**Logic**: you may set up a rule that does something unintended, such as selecting the wrong question or email distribution list. This does not make the rule invalid, so the health checker cannot guarantee you won't accidentally email the entire business every time a form is created.

**Templates**: when you set up document generation or send email rules, you create a document template or email template that is stored in a document library or email template list. If that template is deleted from its library or list, the health checker cannot detect this, so the rule may be broken without being flagged.

**SharePoint groups**: certain rules, such as the Step Assign To rule, can be configured to assign a step to a SharePoint group. If that group is deleted from SharePoint, the health checker cannot detect this.
